DrawerGenie v0.4

Version 0.4 of DrawerGenie is now available, and thanks to the week-long extension for the Amiga Tool Jam, represents my jam entry too. This update adds a couple of things and fixes a couple of things, mostly based on feedback from users. Thanks to everyone who got in touch with reports and suggestions, and to those of you who made a donation, it's really appreciated!

Changes in this version include:

- Sort by Type gadget is now available. This is something I rarely used myself so I ignored it for the earlier versions, but a couple of people questioned it so here it is.

- Items from the drop-down menus now also work in the main toolbar. This was an oversight on my part.

- Version check is now against workbench.library instead of exec.library, because there are some people out there with strange setups running Workbench from OS 3.9 on Exec from 3.1...

- Fixed the occasional misalignment of gadgets in the drop-downs. This was due to a particular order of opening toolbars, prefs windows and drop-downs that miscalculated the window position.

- Added *experimental* option to adjust a drawer window to accommodate a toolbar. This is a little clunky because the state of the window needs to be taken into account, and that can be changed without DrawerGenie's knowledge.

- Adjusted the prefs window layouts to show longer entries in the toolbar listviews and to include the extra option above.

- Added HELP: to the documentation search path so the guide can be placed in HELP: instead of the program directory.

- Added a workaround for the situation where having an icon selected that had no associated file would prevent file operations from taking place. This was due to a limitation (bug?) in the workbench.library API that failed to report any icons selected when one of them was just a .info file. Now, when this failure is detected, DrawerGenie will fall back to a slower ARexx method of listing the selected files that correctly handles lone .info files.

There are more changes planned to address some other issues. In particular, patching Intuition to allow automatic spawning of toolbars when windows are opened and support for other archive types. But they'll take time...
